Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a midlevel associate with 4-5 years of experience to join its M&A and Private Equity Group in Los Angeles, CA. The role will focus on supporting the Beauty and Wellness practice while advising on equity and debt financings, and handling M&A and private equity transactions.

Key responsibilities include managing due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and advising on corporate governance. A Juris Doctor degree and admission to the California bar are required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of law firm experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
• Experience advising early- and growth-stage companies on financings.
• Preferred experience in beauty, personal care, wellness, or consumer products sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence and draft transaction documents for M&A and private equity deals.
• Negotiate transaction documents for equity financings.
• Coordinate with internal legal specialists on regulatory, tax, employment, and IP matters.
• Counsel on corporate governance and advise on joint ventures and strategic partnerships.

Skills

Strong negotiation and drafting skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
