Interlink Talent Solutions seeks a talented Mid-Level M&A/Private Equity Associate to join its Corporate practice in New York. You will work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions representing private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.

The role offers exposure to acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, and high-profile deals with mentorship from partners and meaningful deal responsibility. Requirements include 4+ years of PE experience, a JD, and NY Bar admission.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of predominantly private equity transactional experience.
• Strong experience representing private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
• Proficiency drafting and negotiating complex M&A agreements and equity documentation.
• New York Bar admission or eligibility for admission.
• Excellent academic credentials, drafting abilities, and commercial judgment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and transaction management skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in mergers, acquisitions, and other investment transactions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, equity documents, and ancillary transaction documentation.
• Manage transactions from initial structuring and due diligence through closing.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced partners on high-profile transactions while taking on meaningful deal responsibility.
