Qualifications

• 2-5 years PQE in a law firm, preferably with Insurance Recovery experience.
• Understanding of M&A legal documents (e.g. Sale Agreements, due diligence reports, data room documents) is a must.
• Entrepreneurial with strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously administer and negotiate claims.
• Review and respond to enquiries from clients and brokers.
• Review and prepare notifications; manage the claims process; consider coverage and settlements.
• Negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcome.
• Create comprehensive and accurate documents detailing claim facts and coverage issues.
• Develop strong relationships with markets.
• Advise on policy wording improvements based on insurance law and claims experience.
