Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking a Finance Integration Manager (Construction) to lead all finance-related integration activities for mergers and acquisitions. This role partners with Corporate Development, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, IT, HR, and Operations to deliver disciplined, timely integration aligned to strategy.

The role requires 7+ years in finance operations, strong accounting knowledge, and experience with ERP, billing, or POS systems; travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
• Direct experience with mergers & acquisitions, financial integrations, or large-scale system/process transformations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and collaboration across functions.
• Experience integrating ERP, billing, or POS systems in multi-site environments.
• Background in construction materials or asset-intensive industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance point of contact for acquired business leadership during integration.
• Perform financial integration assessments, including systems, accounting policies, internal controls, reporting, and working capital considerations.
• Develop detailed finance integration plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Support financial due diligence by identifying integration risks, data gaps, and post-close requirements.
• Ensure Day-1 finance readiness, including banking, cash management, payroll, AP/AR, and close processes.
• Coordinate the transition of financial responsibilities from seller to the company.
• Establish interim and permanent financial controls and approval workflows.
• Lead the integration of financial systems (GL, billing, payroll, POS, reporting) with IT/finance teams.
• Oversee chart of accounts mapping, data migration, and validation for reporting accuracy.
• Manage execution of plans through stabilization and go-live milestones.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and elevate risks as needed.
• Collaborate with FP&A to track synergy realization and integration costs.
