Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking an M&A Intern to provide administrative and data-management support to the M&A Liability team. You will process submissions, manage electronic records, and support a shared submissions inbox.

Training is step-by-step with gradual independence in a virtual environment. Requirements include enrollment in a college/university with GPA 3.0+, pursuing Risk Management/Insurance or related fields, and proficiency with Outlook and Excel.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university with a GPA 3.0+.
• Pursuing degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Business or related fields encouraged.
• Virtual environment experience and self-motivation are important.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with data entry or administrative support preferred.
• Proficient with Outlook and Excel; able to download, extract, and organize files.

Responsibilities

• Process M&A submissions and enter information into systems and spreadsheets.
• Monitor the shared submissions inbox and organize incoming docs.
• Download, extract, organize, and upload files from data rooms.
• Maintain electronic records including quotes, declinations, and correspondence.
• Track submission information and keep accurate spreadsheets.
• Follow procedures for large files and bulk downloads.
• Provide administrative and data-entry support as needed.
