Buchanan, a leading US law firm, seeks a Mid-Level M&A Associate (3rd–5th year) to join its Bay Area corporate team. You will advise on public and private mergers, private equity transactions, and support the full lifecycle from structuring through signing and closing.

You will gain exposure to top-tier Bay Area partners, work on high-profile transactions, and collaborate across practice groups in a hybrid environment to build a credible partner-track M&A career.

Qualifications

• 3rd–5th year associate with strong M&A and/or private equity transactional experience.
• Experience handling sophisticated deal documentation and managing workstreams on transactions.
• Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills.
