  • Perform DCF, comps, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Conduct industry, company, market, and transaction research to support deal strategy.
  • Develop target lists for potential buyers, sellers, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, and board materials.
  • Coordinate across workstreams and assist with engagement management.
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with senior team members.
  • Contribute to strategic analyses and valuation engagements.

Job description

Our client is a highly regarded healthcare advisory firm with a dedicated Mergers & Acquisitions practice advising leading organizations on complex transactions and strategic initiatives. The team works across buy-side, sell-side, joint venture, and other strategic engagements, providing clients with objective analysis, financial expertise, and transaction execution support.

As an M&A Associate, you will work directly alongside senior M&A professionals on live transactions, gaining hands-on exposure to financial modeling, valuation, industry research, and the day-to-day execution of deals. This is an excellent opportunity for an investment banking professional looking to continue building strong transaction experience while taking on meaningful responsibility within a lean, collaborative team.

Responsibilities
  • Support senior M&A professionals across live buy-side and sell-side transactions.
  • Build and maintain financial, valuation, and debt models used throughout transaction execution.
  • Perform DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Conduct industry, company, market, and transaction research to support deal strategy and valuation.
  • Develop target lists for potential buyers, sellers, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, Board materials, and other client deliverables.
  • Support transaction execution and engagement coordination across multiple workstreams.
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with senior team members throughout the deal process.
  • Contribute to strategic analyses, valuation engagements, and other M&A-related initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1+ years of experience in investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements, valuation methodologies, and the M&A process.
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
