Job summary

Ferrovial in Austin, TX seeks an M&A Analyst to support growth in energy by coordinating and managing merger and acquisition processes. You will work across finance, analytics, development, legal and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely closing of transactions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, strong project finance knowledge, and at least 3 years in similar roles; you will lead bidding, oversee transaction execution, and negotiate purchase agreements with the Legal department,

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of project finance is essential.
  • Proven experience in M&A operations within the infrastructure sector, with complex financing structures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate bidding processes for the acquisition of energy projects, ensuring robust analysis, documentation, and strategic alignment.
  • Manage and oversee transaction execution when bids are awarded, ensuring smooth progress across all workstreams.
  • Drive the negotiation of purchase agreements in close collaboration with the Legal department.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Ferrovial’s Finance team, supporting and coordinating all Due Diligence activities.
  • Monitor and supervise compliance with contractual conditions throughout the entire closing process.
  • Ensure effective information flow among finance, analytics, development, legal, and technical teams during M&A transaction execution.
