  • You will work closely with an experienced Welder and Spot Welder to: Perform layout, set-up and welding on a variety of component parts and assemblies.
  • Learn to work from planning or verbal instructions, prints or sketches. Learn to fabricate, repair or rework using all required welding techniques, including manual arc processes (GTAW, TIG), semi-automated weld processes (GTAW, LW, EBW), and tools like files, bench grinders, and hand grinders to perform welding preparation, defect removal, and manual dimensional restoration.
  • Gain experience working with materials such as heat-resistant ferrous alloys, nickel base alloys, cobalt-base alloys, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys.
  • Learn to operate material handling and lifting devices.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure safe and efficient work areas, including cleaning around the work area, tools, shop floor, and maintaining organization of the work area according to established standards.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Vocational Technical High School, at least midway through junior year.
  • Participating in a relevant hands-on welding or manufacturing program.
  • Distance Vision 20/30 (US), with or without correction.
  • Near Vision capable of reading Jaeger No. 2 at 16 inches.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate fixtures and hardware up to 25 lbs.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers depend on obtaining necessary authorization from the U.S. Government for non-U.S. persons.
