Job summary

ServiceMaster Services is hiring a General Cleaner to provide janitorial services and supervision for client offices in the Richmond area. Location: Lynchburg, VA. Pay is $14.00/hour, with hours Monday to Friday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm (15 hours per week).

The role requires standing for long periods and performing cleaning tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and restroom cleaning. You will work with a local ServiceMaster team to maintain a clean, safe facility and respond

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum age of 16+ years.
• Education and work history demonstrating work ethic and responsibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and co-workers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a contributing team member.
• Physically able to stand for the shift and perform tasks including walking, bending, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, secure, and safe environment for occupants.
• Perform cleaning tasks: trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, restroom cleaning.
• Execute the cleaning plan for the building cost-effectively.

• Effectively and cost-efficiently execute the cleaning plan for the building.
• Work productively with your ServiceMaster team members.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt responses to customer requests and concerns.
