Job summary

Lymphedema Therapy Specialists, Inc. seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide hands-on lymphedema care under OT supervision in a Katy, TX clinic.

You will implement CDPT-based plans, perform MLD, compression application, and patient education, while collaborating with therapists, MAs, and physicians. Qualifications

• All required certifications must be active and verified prior to providing independent patient care.
• 2–5+ years of hands-on COTA clinical experience preferred (outpatient/rehab).
• CLT certification highly preferred; experience with CDT is an asset.
• Training provided for lymphedema and wound care during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with lymphedema using standardized assessments and history.
• Provide direct interventions including MLD, CDT, compression, and therapeutic exercise.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms; ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Support clinicians and staff in wound care, ROM, and compression fittings.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home management and self-care techniques.
• Document vitals, ROM, wound notes in EMR; track progress and adjust plans.
• Follow HIPAA; maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory of compression garments and DME; manage paperwork.
• Participate in quality improvement and infection control initiatives.
• Demonstrate alignment with LTS mission and values in daily care.
