Job summary

The Healthcare Resort of Leawood in Leawood, KS is hiring a full-time Lymphedema Therapist (PT-CLT or OT-CLT) to join our in-house therapy team. We serve post-acute and geriatric patients with comprehensive rehab services in a supportive setting.

Qualified applicants are Licensed PT or OT with CLT credentials, committed to compassionate care and teamwork within a multidisciplinary staff. Join us to help improve functional outcomes and quality of life for our residents.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT or OT required at time of application.
• Must hold CLT credentials.
• Experience in post-acute care and geriatric rehab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive/ADL dysfunctions and develop plan of care.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based approaches to guide interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatments per regulatory requirements.
• Perform ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities and device use.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments in the medical record.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify services based on referrals.
• Provide counseling to patients and families about conditions and progress.
• Communicate with supervisors and health team members on patient progress.
