R&D Finance Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic R&D Finance Assistant (0.8WTE part time) to support the Finance team with clinical studies taking place in NHS Grampian. The post-holder will work on finances relating to the commercial and non-commercial medical research in NHS-Grampian, providing finance/administrative support to clinical studies, and generate income from the trial activities.

Educated to standard grade or equivalent level with excellent IT skills, the post-holder will have experience of working in a finance environment and be comfortable with using databases/web-based software systems. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
