Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate a CHEP-owned box truck in compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Execute daily less-than-truckload deliveries and pallet collections at 100+ locations.
• Optimize routes and volumes with internal teams and customers.
• Document delivery data including times, mileages, volumes, site conditions, and recovery challenges.
• Collaborate with customers to drive program compliance and grow collection volumes.
• Develop and execute improvement projects to enhance operations and growth.
• Train peers as a resource for LVR Representatives.
• Resolve issues and prioritize deliveries and collections.
• Work autonomously in a matrix environment.

Job description

• Operate a CHEP-owned box truck in compliance with safety regulations, DOT regulations, and CHEP standards
• Execute daily less-than-truckload deliveries and collections of pallets at 100+ customer locations
• Optimize routes and volumes through partnerships with internal teams and customers
• Document delivery and collection data, including times, mileages, volumes, site conditions, and recovery challenges
• Collaborate with customers to drive program compliance and increase collection volumes
• Visit potential collection locations to promote the CHEP LVR Program and gather information to expand the customer base
• Develop and execute project plans focused on operational improvements and growth strategies
• Act as a resource and trainer for other LVR Representatives
• Resolve customer issues and prioritize deliveries and collections
• Operate autonomously within a matrix environment

Requirements

• Clean driving record and ability to obtain a DOT medical card with no restrictions
• Physically capable of lifting 65 lbs regularly
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience with route optimization and customer relationship management
• Ability to lead peers indirectly
• Ability to work autonomously
• Knowledge of routing management software is a plus
• Preferred experience with multi-stop driving
• Preferred experience with DOT & Safety Compliance
• Preferred experience with Route Optimization/Management
• Preferred experience with Local Customer Relationship Building
• Preferred experience with frontline operations leadership
• Preferred experience with new customer developmentEnglish (essential)
