Qualifications

• Current LVN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with older adults.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• CPR certification.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Ability to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of being paged.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to establish priorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day nursing care and support for Sister residents.
• Coordinate physician-directed care, restorative care, community services, and other resources.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Coordinate with the Sister Life Minister, families, physicians, and community providers to support comprehensive resident care.
• Monitor resident care to ensure fairness, kindness, dignity, and respect.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical contacts and services provided.
• Supervise nursing staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, evaluations, payroll, and addressing concerns.
• Oversee nursing schedules to ensure staffing and coverage.
• Monitor staff compliance with policies, safety regulations, and guidelines.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities and care conferences.
• Attend staff meetings and on-site trainings.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the care team and assist with tasks as needed.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities.
