Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical and administrative support in busy employee Wellness Centers located in Burbank and Culver City, California.

The ideal candidate will multitask between front and back office, perform phlebotomy, and ensure excellent patient service. This is a 3-month initial contract with potential PTO coverage and continuation as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted California LVN license.
• Experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, primary care, occupational health, or wellness center preferred.
• Strong front and back office experience.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills.
• Experience using an EMR system; Epic experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide front and back office support within the Wellness Centers.
• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information.
• Perform blood draws and specimen collection with a high level of proficiency.
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures as needed.
• Support patient scheduling, check-in, and other front-office functions.
• Accurately document patient information within the EMR.
• Maintain clinical supplies and ensure patient care areas are clean.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and team members.
• Work independently while maintaining clinical and patient-care standards.
• Provide additional coverage for team PTO as needed.
