Job summary

Villa Las Palmas Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to oversee nursing assistants and ensure high‑quality resident care in a long‑term care setting. You will ensure adherence to policies, supervise daily nursing activities, and participate in quality assurance initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a solid understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care facilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long‑term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff to plan shifts, services, programs, and activities.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance with its procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys as required.
