Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) is seeking an LVN for Sub Acute care on a full-time day shift in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities include ongoing patient care, data gathering, and participation in trans-disciplinary care planning. Requires California LVN license and BLS certification.

Minimum one year of LVN experience and ability to work in a union environment are preferred. Additional certifications within 30 days of hire are required.

Qualifications

• Education and training must meet California BVNPT requirements for licensure (graduate of vocational nurse program or equivalent education/experience).
• Minimum one-year recent LVN experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide medications under supervision of Charge Nurse.
• Demonstrate knowledge in Trach care, ventilator patients, wounds and treatments.
• Ensure patient safety and follow emergency procedures.
