Power Personnel in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a collaborative care team. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and support diagnostic procedures under physicians and RNs.

This 13-week assignment offers day shifts, Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, with competitive pay and benefits such as health, vision, dental, and life insurance. You’ll work in a world-renowned hospital and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical protocols, nursing policies, and procedures.
• Ability to administer medications and injections within scope of practice.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care to patients per physician's and RN instructions; supports procedures and medications.
• Instructs and counsels patients on physical self-care and test-related needs.
• Maintains accurate records of medications and treatments; tracks patient progress.
• Maintains safe, clean environment and adequate supplies/equipment.
• Provides direct patient care to keep patients clean and comfortable; may assist with feeding.
• Considers social, economic, cultural backgrounds of patients and families.
• Screens patients by obtaining histories and vital signs; records findings.
• Collaborates with healthcare team; follows nursing policies.
• Performs specialized procedures as trained and approved.
