Job summary

St. Jude Neighborhood Health Centers is seeking a part-time bilingual LVN for the La Amistad Clinic in Anaheim, CA to provide exemplar patient care in a non-hospital setting.

This 16-hour-per-week role requires English/Spanish fluency, LVN program graduate, CA LVN license, and basic computer skills. Compensation ranges from $25 to $33 per hour with a focus on community health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Licensed Vocational Nursing Program.
• California LVN license (active).
• BLS certification from an AHA-approved program.
• 1–2 years LVN experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care under supervision, including immunizations and vital signs.
• Perform functions within scope of practice such as screenings and medication dispensing.
• Support population health management within a team-based clinic model.

St. Jude Neighborhood Health Centers (affiliated with Providence St. Joseph Health) is seeking a part-time bilingual (Spanish/English) LVN to provide exemplar patient care at our La Amistad Clinic, in Anaheim, California.

$25 - $33/hour, based upon experience

16-hour work week

Requirements

Essential Functions:

Using clinical best practices and disease registries provide population health management. Additionally, as needed, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or licensed medical provider, perform clinical functions within the scope of practice, including, but not limited to: immunizations, performance of vital signs, hearing and vision screening, and medication dispensing.

Education:

Graduate of a Licensed Vocational Nursing Program.

License/ Certifications:

Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse license.

Provider level basic life support (BLS) from AHA approved program.

Experience:

One-Two (1-2) years of LVN experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrate a commitment and passion for working with underserved patient populations.

Demonstrates the ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently
