Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Part-time LVN at Chula Vista Medical Center's SNF West to provide focused nursing care under an RN. This role emphasizes assessment, planning, and execution of interventions, with patient education and documentation to support the care plan.

The ideal candidate holds a CA LVN license, BLS, and IV therapy certification, with preferred experience in a clinical setting. The position includes weekend rotation and union-affiliated environment.

Formación

• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS) - REQUIRED.
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license - REQUIRED.
• Vocational Nurse IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification - REQUIRED.
• 1 year CNA or LVN experience in a clinical setting (preferred).
• Experience in the respective department is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs individualized nursing care for patients under RN direction.
• Collects assessment data, participates in planning, and executes interventions.
• Communicates Plan Of Care to patient and family; contributes to evaluation.
• Documents data and coordinates with RN and health care team.
• Implements Plan of Care and seeks resources as needed in new situations.
• Provides informal teaching and supports patient and family education.
