About the Role:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/RN plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within the Health Care Services industry. This position involves providing direct nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring patients' comfort, safety, and well-being. The LVN/RN will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and assisting with medical procedures, contributing to effective treatment plans. This role requires compassionate communication with patients and their families, fostering a supportive and informative environment. Ultimately, the LVN helps maintain the smooth operation of healthcare services by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or RN license in the state of Texas.
  • Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proven experience working as an LVN or RN.
  • Strong understanding of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare facility similar to the job location, such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities.
  • Additional certifications such as IV therapy or wound care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
