Job summary

JMH is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to collaborate with providers and the health care team, handling a range of clinical and administrative duties. The LVN ensures smooth workflows and supports the care team, including backup for medical assistants and reception staff.

Required is completion of an LVN program and CA licensure; BLS is also mandatory. Preferred is 2 years of LVN experience in a physician office setting and familiarity with EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Completion of Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Program is required.
• 2 years LVN experience preferred, preferably in a physician office setting.
• California LVN licensure required by the state board.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative patient-related duties as designated by the Provider/Site Manager.
• Support Medical Assistants, call center, schedulers and reception as back-up.
• Maintain smooth workflows within practices and ensure effective patient care.
