Job summary

Oaks of Longview is seeking a dedicated LVN to join our skilled nursing team as a supervisor. The role centers on maintaining high-quality clinical outcomes, guiding staff, and ensuring resident care meets policy and physician orders.

The position supports ongoing staff development and requires a valid LVN license with BLS/CPR certification. Competitive benefits and a stable work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LVN program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during shifts.
• Serve as a resource to all staff regarding the quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; Demonstrates the ability to administer medications and treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Effectively manages nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency personnel.
• Assesses the work performance of nursing staff as it relates to unit standards of care and goals.
• Conducts regular staff meetings on each shift and provides updates to DON.
