Job summary

Oaks of Longview, a Long-Term Care facility, is seeking a fantastic LVN with strong supervisory skills to lead day-to-day nursing operations. You will supervise shifts, ensure high-quality care, and coordinate with physicians while supporting residents and families.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with 2+ years SNF experience and current BLS/CPR certification is required. Excellent teamwork and adherence to policy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required for SNFs; ALFs as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shifts.
• Serves as a resource to staff regarding quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required and administer medications promptly per policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive and carry out physician orders as allowed by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Manages nursing personnel on shift to minimize overtime and agency use.
• Conducts regular staff meetings and provides updates to DON.
