Qualifications

  • Current LVN license in Texas and BLS CPR certification required.

Description

We are seeking a qualified LVN or Medical Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities include:

  1. Reporting and documenting patient care, provider orders, and contacts accurately.
  2. Refilling medications following ARC protocols.
  3. Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and preparing them for exams.
  4. Performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs, audiograms, tympanograms, spirometry, and visual screenings.
  5. Monitoring and ordering supplies and equipment.
  6. Reviewing provider refill requests and managing medication refill activities.
  7. Reviewing triage calls and callbacks.
  8. Cleaning patient rooms and managing laundry and linens.
  9. Assisting providers with specific procedures like sigmoidoscopy and stress testing, including setup and cleanup.
  10. Maintaining medical equipment and adhering to policies including OSHA, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
  11. Maintaining regular attendance and working holiday shifts as required.
Qualifications
LVN:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program.
  • Current LVN license in Texas and BLS CPR certification.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to perform nursing duties within scope of practice.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Staff Medical Assistant:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Experience in patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, or related training.
Additional Requirements:
  • CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to administer medications and injections within 90 days of hire.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
