Apploi in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Supervisor of Nursing to oversee nursing staff and coordinate care delivery in accordance with professional standards and physician orders, policies and procedures, and state and federal guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN/LVN license, has at least one year of nursing management experience, and can lead education for patients and families while coordinating interdepartmental communications.

Formación

• Currently licensed LPN/LVN in state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care.
• Coordinates care delivery within scope of practice.
• Ensures patient needs are met in accordance with professional standards and with physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Locates and uses emergency equipment when necessary.
