Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed vocational nurse with understanding of correctional healthcare standards.
  • Capable of working within state scope of practice.

Sign-On and Retention Bonus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
  • Administer prescribed medications according to nursing standards and correctional regulations
  • Follow established treatment plans
  • Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking
