Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Full-Time NOC ShiftKern River Transitional Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing team on the Full-Time NOC Shift. We are looking for a dedicated nurse who is committed to providing excellent resident care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.CompensationPay Range: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experienceNOC Shift Differential: Additional $1.00 per hourEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and facility policies.Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate physician or nursing supervisor.Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.Participate in the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans.Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and members of the interdisciplinary team.Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.Obtain and document vital signs and other clinical information.Ensure physician orders are carried out accurately.Supervise and provide direction to CNAs as assigned.Follow infection prevention and control procedures.Respond appropriately to resident emergencies and changes in condition.Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility information.Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.Follow all federal, state, and facility nursing regulations, policies, and procedures.Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.QualificationsCurrent and active California LVN license in good standing.Current CPR/BLS certification as required.Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute experience preferred.Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Ability to prioritize resident needs and manage multiple responsibilities.Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.Dependable and committed to providing quality resident-centered care.BenefitsCompetitive pay$1.00 per hour NOC shift differentialMedical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees401(k)Paid time offLife insuranceTraining and professional growth opportunitiesEmployee rewards and recognitionSupportive and collaborative nursing teamJoin Kern River Transitional Care Center and become part of a team dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents.Job Type: Full-TimeShift: NOCPay: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experienceShift Differential: Additional $1.00 per hour for NOC shiftWe are an equal opportunity employer.
