The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Humble, TX. The LVN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician to deliver nursing care within the LVN scope of practice.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, administering medications, documenting care, and educating consumers and families. Minimum 2 year LVN education is required; 1 year nursing experience preferred, with mental health/IDD experience

Formación

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) from one year college.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Uses a four-step nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Performs nursing tasks and administers medications within LVN scope.
• Documents care, observations, and responses to treatments in records.
• Educates consumers and families about medications and treatments.
• Maintains safety and coordinates with team to ensure quality care.
