Job summary

Alter Behavioral Health is seeking an LVN/LPT to provide compassionate, medically supervised care in a residential behavioral health setting in Orange County. You will administer medications, monitor health status, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to support treatment goals.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation in EMR, and crisis intervention while delivering empathetic patient-centered care within a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• CA LVN or LPT license required.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer, dispense, and document medications per physician orders.
• Monitor clients' physical and mental health status and vital signs.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and residential staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide a supportive, therapeutic presence and educate clients on medications and self-care.
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies with appropriate clinical judgment.
