Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide direct nursing care to clients in a behavioral health setting. The role supports patients according to physician orders and cares for unit operations under nurse direction.

California licensure is required; CPR and first aid certifications are expected. This is a full-time on-site position with varied shifts, offering comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities

Job Duties

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

Schedule

• Full-Time: AM/PM (PM Fri-Sun, AM Mon)
• Full-Time: PM/NOC (PM Mon-Wed, NOC Thurs-Fri)
• Full-Time: NOC (Sat-Wed)

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:: $34.50 USD - $39.99 USD
