Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our inpatient care team in Reno, NV. The LVN delivers direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision and supports patient and family communication.

Ideal candidates hold an active LVN license, BLS certification, and have 1 year of relevant experience; IV certification within 6 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LVN license in the state of Nevada.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
• Minimum one year of experience in an applicable setting preferred.
• IV certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications
