Job summary

BuzzClan is hiring LVN/LPNs to provide skilled nursing care in a supported living facility. You will administer meds, monitor health, and maintain medical records while coordinating with the healthcare team.

The role requires a valid Texas LVN license or NLC eligibility, CPR certification, and ability to handle documentation and emergencies accurately. Prior IDD or psychiatric care experience is preferred; COVID testing is provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas LVN license or eligible multi-state license through NLC.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.
• Negative PPD test within the last 12 months.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain accurate documentation.
• Must pass drug screening, background checks, and FBI fingerprinting.
• Negative COVID-19 test required; testing provided by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Perform nursing procedures and monitor individuals' health conditions.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EHR or paper charts.
• Document and communicate patient observations to the healthcare team.
• Respond to emergencies and follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with specimen collection, screening tests, and patient education.
