Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LVN in state of California
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred, not required
• LONG TERM CARE EXPERIENCE
• POINT CLICK CARE CHARTING EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual
• Implements and participates in Quality Improvement Program
• Utilizes Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge)
• Conducts family and patient education
• Administers medications timely and according to facility policy
• Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary
