Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include active TX LVN license and completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Experience in long-term skilled nursing facilities or similar healthcare settings.
• BLS certification.
• Strong understanding of nursing principles and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and facility protocols.
• Monitor and record residents’ vital signs and health status.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as required.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain documentation of all nursing activities and patient responses.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards compliance.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
