Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrate understanding of infection control and care standards.
• Experience with quality improvement programs preferred.
• Experience using electronic charting systems, specifically PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharge).
• Educates patients and families.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as permitted by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when needed.
