• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders when permitted.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
