Hospital Details
Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32-bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often, our patients require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
The LPN/LVN is responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care, incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. The staff LPN/LVN shall ensure the unit functions smoothly, organized, and efficiently as directed by the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include direct patient care, delegation, and supervision of nursing care. Specific components include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality, establishing professional relationships, utilizing skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise per specialty.
Required Skills:
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- IV Certification required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- One (1) year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Three (3) years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
- One (1) year of area-specific experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in the role.
- Freedom from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace.

Compensation
The estimated wage range is $27.00 to $36.34 per hour, considering factors like experience, education, licensure, and organizational needs. Employees may be eligible for NOC & Weekend Day differentials of $3.00 to $6.50 per hour, depending on work hours.
