Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness or injury. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team delivering personalized care focused on improving lives daily.

Responsibilities include administering meds, assisting with ADLs, monitoring vitals, and educating patients and families about recovery milestones in a collaborative hospital setting.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license required within the state of Texas or equivalent jurisdiction.
• 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab or related setting preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and report changes promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ADLs to support therapy goals and independence.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status, document progress for care planning.
• Educate patients and families about recovery milestones and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver high-quality care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient’s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence
• Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quicklyDocumenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
• Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques
• Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
