Hireology is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to ensure efficient nursing care and positive clinical outcomes in a long-term care facility. You will direct nursing care during your shift, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality resident care.

Qualifikationen

• Valid state license(s).
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

• At least one year’s experience providing care in long-term care (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with Company, State, Federal and local rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with documentation regarding care and service provided.
• Participate in the orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) as scheduled.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes, and resident/family satisfaction during shift.
• Serve as a resource to all staff within the facility regarding the quality of services provided.
• Chart progress notes in an informative, factual manner that reflects the care administered as well as the residents’ response to care.
• Follow established procedure for charting and reporting all reports of incident/accidents (residents & employees).
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family.
• Accurately identify skin changes and follow the Company skin management protocols.
• Order and report diagnostic tests timely.
• Count narcotics at the beginning and completion of each shift with the nurse leaving and coming on to the shift.
• Follow Pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications.
