Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide in-home nursing care for an adult patient in Jefferson, TX.

The LVN will assess and plan care using the nursing process, deliver skilled nursing services per orders, monitor patient status, and document findings for ongoing care coordination. Texas license, TB/x-ray and BLS required; one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN in Texas.
• TB test or chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with prescribed orders.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LVN in the state in which the LVN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
