Job summary

Easterseals Southern California, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to oversee health and personal care for residents in a group home.

Under supervision, you deliver nursing care, monitor medical issues, and support independence in daily living. The role requires LVN certification, CPR and First Aid; CPI may be required; responsibilities include medication administration, safety reporting, documentation, and collaboration with the Residential Administrator and RN; local travel to health

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid LVN certification/degree.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• CP I certification required within the onboarding period or per contract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to residents within the residential program.
• Examine and evaluate ill or injured residents and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring.
• Provide personal care and support with meals, hygiene, and activities of daily living.
• Complete daily reports and documentation.
• Coordinate transportation to appointments and training staff as needed.
