Maxim Healthcare Services in Orange County, CA is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of 1:1 patient care. The LVN will perform duties according to nursing standards and manage patient care, assisting others as needed.

We are currently filling multiple cases including: Mornings, Afternoons, Overnights, and Weekends. We offer flexible scheduling options, including full time, part time, and per diem. Interested candidates can contact Trajan Susa-Coelho directly at (714) 542-2400.

Responsibilities
  1. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  2. Performs focused interviews to identify patient needs.
  3. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
  4. Collects, analyzes, and interprets healthcare data and documents nursing diagnoses.
  5. Performs other LVN duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Current LVN license in the practicing state.
  2. Current Health Certificate (per facility requirements).
  3. Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  4. Current and active BLS card.
  5. One year of LVN experience preferred.
