Job summary

McClure Post Acute in California is hiring a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) for a full-time position. You will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents, administer medications, monitor conditions, and document findings.

The ideal candidate holds an active California LVN/LPN license, has strong clinical and communication skills, and thrives in a team-based environment. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, active California LVN/LPN license required.
• Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality resident care.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and in accordance with facility policies.
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Assist with wound care, treatments, and other nursing procedures as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide guidance and support to CNAs and other members of the care team.
• Promote residents' dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.
• Follow all applicable state, federal, and facility regulations and standards.
• Participate in care planning and contribute to positive resident outcomes.
