Job summary
SUN MAR HEALTH CARE is seeking licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) to join our clinical team at Menifee Lakes Post-Acute. The role involves providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants, and supporting physicians with rounds and care plans.
We offer full-time and part-time shifts across various hours. California Nursing License and a clean background check are required. Starting pay is $34 per hour, with non-exempt status and on-site work at our facility.
Qualifications
- Current California Nursing License.
- Clear background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
- Complete and file required charts and treatment plans/physician orders, etc.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Make rounds with physicians as requested/necessary.
- Orient and welcome new residents and families.
- Answer call lights and provide nursing assistance.
- Participate in and make recommendations for care plans.
