Nwregionalheart in Hanford, California, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide specialized nursing care for assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves assessments, developing care plans, administering medications, and maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas.
The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. LVN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required. Adventist Health values the safety of its associates and patients and mandates all required vaccinations.
Performs procedures which require specialized training for general nursing care and related services for assigned patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD), in accordance with established policy. Participates in the planning for and provision of patient care. Uses knowledge of asepsis in performance of treatments, such as sterile dressings, irritations and cauterizations. Provides functional direction to ancillary personnel.
