Job summary

Avir at Hico in Texas is seeking an LVN to join our care delivery team on site. You will provide high-quality patient care under supervision of licensed nurses and physicians, administer medications, perform wound care, and contribute to individualized care plans.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in quality improvement, maintain accurate records, and educate patients and families to support informed decisions and self-care.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in Texas
• 0 years of LVN experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand long periods

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed nurses and physicians, including medications and wound care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to policy development
• Demonstrate commitment to infection control and adherence to protocols
