Job summary

Qualifications

• Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Must have an active Licensed Vocational Nurse license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition changes during rounds.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure care plans are implemented.
• Coordinate with physicians, record visits, and manage nurse/aid supervision.
• Perform narcotic reconciliation and incident reporting per policy.
• Discharge residents per facility policy and communicate status updates.
