Job summary

Apploi in Los Angeles is seeking an LVN Charge Nurse to provide hands-on nursing care in a facility setting. The role requires an active LVN license and CPR certification, English proficiency, and the ability to work a 3-11 shift with rotating weekends.

You will perform resident assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in this state.
• Must be currently certified and possess a valid CPR card.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans as necessary per state, federal, and facility policies.
• Perform treatments-administer medications, and/or implement other nursing interventions as indicated by the resident care plan or as ordered by the physician. Notify doctor timely as needed.
• Provide nursing care in accordance with acceptable infection control standards.
• Follow safety policies while performing nursing care.
• Initiate emergency measures according to facility policies and nursing practices.
• Maintain all documentation as required by federal and state regulations and facility policy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and/or medications to meet the needs of the resident.
• Participate in assigned meetings and in-services and quality assurance meetings.

• Personnel Protective Equipment Provided: Mask, Googles/face shields, gowns, gloves etcc..

• Perform resident assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans as necessary per state, federal, and facility policies.

• Perform treatments-administer medications, and/or implement other nursing interventions as indicated by the resident care plan or as ordered by the physician. Notify doctor timely as needed.

Requirements:
